As "Mr. Musical on Tour", the director of the Mörbisch Lake Festival, Alfons Haider, presents well-known and popular musicals from the world of entertainment theater, bringing musical fever from Lake Neusiedl to the venerable Taggenbrunn Castle in Carinthia. Together with star soloists from the Seefestspiele Mörbisch, the well-known entertainer entertains the audience with anecdotes and witty presentations of hits from successful productions such as Mamma Mia, West Side Story and My Fair Lady.
Alfons Haider on his relationship with musicals: "For me, it all started with musical theater. My first engagement was at the age of 17 as an extra with a one-set role in Mörbisch - unaware that 47 years later I would be standing in the front row and become an artistic director."

    Trained as an actor and musical performer in Vienna and Los Angeles, he soon gained a foothold on the major Viennese stages. International TV series, cinema and television films as well as presenting for ORF soon became his second mainstay.

    For 15 years, he directed the Stockerau Open Air Festival and enjoyed great success with Broadway musicals such as "La Cage Aux Folles" and "A Chorus Line". As an entertainer, his cabaret revues have taken him from Vienna's Theater Akzent to New York's Carnegie Hall and the Friars Club in LA.

    In 2018, he celebrated a comeback as a film actor. "The Salzburg Story" by Alexander Peter Lercher was invited to open the California Independent Film Festival 2018 and won the award for best film.

    In 2021, Alfons Haider became the general director of Burgenland's music theaters and is thus responsible for the repositioning of the Mörbisch Lake Festival and the festival summer at Tabor Castle in Jennersdorf. In 2023, he was able to attract over 180,000 visitors to the Seefestspiele Mörbisch with "Mamma Mia" and the sales figures for "My Fair Lady" this year should already promise a similarly great success.

  • Anna Rosa Döller

    Born in Ternitz, Lower Austria, Anna Rosa Döller came into contact with piano lessons, art and culture at a young age. In addition to her school education in music, she was part of a youth musical school where she gained all kinds of stage experience from the age of 9 to 16. As a result, she was involved early on in productions such as HAIRSPRAY as a Velma van Tussleand in URINETOWN as Freya von Mehrwerth to see.

    Immediately after completing her three-year professional training at the renowned musical training program PERFORMING ACADEMY and after the production Une Madame under director Erik Petersen at the MuTh-Theater, artistic director Alfons Haider and director Andreas Gergen brought Anna Rosa in 2023 in the leading role of Sophie in the ABBA musical MAMMA MIA! at the Seefestspiele Mörbisch. In December 2023, she could be seen in Lukas Perman's and Mark Seibert's "DIE GROSSE WEIHNACHTSGALA DER MUSICALSTARS" at the Wiener Stadthalle.

    In spring 2024, she will take on the role of Anne Dindon in the musical LA CAGE AUX FOLLES at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt and in summer 2024 she will return to the Seefestspiele Mörbisch and will be Eliza Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY - THE MUSICAL.

  • Timotheus Hollweg

    Timotheus, 22, was born in Vienna and comes from a family of artists, so he knew early on that his passion was music and especially musicals! He began training his voice in classical music at an early age in the Vienna State Opera Boys' Choir and took part in productions such as "Tosca" and "Billy Bud". Timotheus had his first major engagement in 2010 at the Wiener Festwochen as Son of Marie in the production "Wozzeck". Later that year, he played the role of Florian in "I've Never Been to New York" and subsequently, in 2012, in "Elisabeth". Crown Prince Rudolf. He also appeared as an extra in the 2019 Salzburg Festival production of "Simon Boccanegra".

    In 2015, Timotheus founded the boy band iBROS together with his brother Aeneas and the two produced contributions for ORF children's television, ran YouTube on the side and brought their own CD onto the market.

    After graduating from the Vienna Boys' Choir's upper secondary school, Timotheus began his bachelor's degree at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna in 2021, where he is still studying. In his first major musical engagement in 2023, the young baritone shines as Sky in the successful musical "Mamma Mia" at the Seefestspiele Mörbisch. From March 22, Timotheus will be Michel in "La Cage aux Folles" at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt.

     

  • Aeneas Hollweg

    Aeneas Hollweg, born in Vienna in 2002, comes from a musical family. From an early age, he was passionate about art, especially dance, and attended the Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy from 2008 to 2016. In addition to numerous ballet performances, such as "Nutcracker" and "Don Quixote", Aeneas Hollweg appeared on stage in the role of Little Rudolf in the anniversary production of "Elisabeth" at the Raimundtheater from 2012 - 2014.

    Aeneas Hollweg successfully completed his school career at the ORG of the Vienna Boys' Choir and has been studying Musical Entertainment Theater at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna since 2021. In 2023, Aeneas was in the successful production "Mamma Mia!" as Pepper at the Seefestspiele Mörbisch in .
