Philipp Hochmair is Jedermann. In a passionate tour de force, he slips into all the roles and turns Hugo von Hofmannsthal's play into a polyphonic monologue. His Jedermann is a rock star. Driven by guitar riffs and experimental sounds from the band Die Elektrohand Gottes, Hochmair transforms the 100-year-old mystery play into an apocalyptic spoken word concert. Everyone becomes recognizable as a contemporary who is burning up in his insatiable greed for money and intoxication. The theme is both timeless and eternally valid: "What is left of my life when it comes to dying?"
Since 2013, Hochmair has been developing the performance as a work in progress - always on the border between concert, theater and excess.

Big names, big sound: in "THE BIG B's", the Janoska Ensemble dedicates itself to the legendary music icons with a B - from Bach to the Beatles, from Beethoven to Bernstein. The timeless "Air" by Johann Sebastian Bach, Beethoven's iconic Fate Symphony, a fiery Hungarian Dance by Johannes Brahms - once a summer guest in Carinthia - as well as Beatles classics such as "Yesterday" and "Penny Lane" can be heard. But other "B's" such as Georges Bizet, Leonard Bernstein and Dave Brubeck also flash up - and all in the unmistakable Janoska style: rousing, virtuosic, surprising. An evening between serious and popular music, heart and humor - for connoisseurs, explorers and everyone in between.

Exquisite entertainer Viktor Gernot and Austria's jazz flagship Simone Kopmajer present their next joint program with "You Wonderful You" – a musical journey of discovery and, at the same time, a declaration of love for jazz. Two perfectly harmonizing voices dedicate themselves to the great melodies of the 20th century and bring their sensitive musical dialogue to life. Musically, the spectrum ranges from "Come Fly with Me" to "Take Five" and "One Note Samba," complemented by original compositions such as Viktor Gernot's "Our Easy Life Blues."

La Philharmonica

Six musicians from the Vienna Philharmonic, united by their joint work at the Vienna State Opera, present Viennese sound culture with music ranging from Mozart and Strauss to Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story. Often forgotten: The music of Mozart and Strauss also later conquered Broadway stages and Hollywood films - for example in Amadeus or Die Fledermaus - The Strauss Opera. Mozart's Figaro and the Clarinet Quintet are followed by Pauline Viardot's Six morceaux, followed by Tristan Schulze's L'Opera with operatic quotations. In the second part, Johann Strauss' esprit and the sparkling variety of his music meet the splendor of the American musical after two intermezzi by Jean-Baptiste Barrière and Bobby McFerrin.
The program will be hosted by ORF culture presenter Barbara Rett.

Three minutes were enough to take Europe's breath away: Johannes "JJ" Pietsch, the 24-year-old countertenor with perhaps the most extraordinary voice of his generation, is bringing the Eurovision Song Contest back to Austria in 2025 after ten years.
Classically trained by Kammersängerin Linda Watson at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna, he has been thrilling audiences at the Vienna State Opera since 2022 with roles in Mozart's Magic Flute, Von der Liebe Tod with music by Gustav Mahler and Rudger Vollmer's "Road Opera" Tschick.
For the first time as a guest at the Taggenbrunn Festival, ESC winner Johannes "JJ" Pietsch will present selected arias, accompanied by the MY Sounds Vienna ensemble under the direction of Yury Revich, who will frame the arias with music by George Frideric Handel, Giuseppe Tartini and others.

Enjoy immortal pop, rock and soul classics, great musical melodies and hits by legends such as Tina Turner, Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. The celebrated musical stars Ana Milva Gomes and Vincent Bueno enchant with their impressive vocal artistry and charisma. Together with Eric Papilaya, Deniz Malatyali and a rousing six-piece live band, they ignite a firework display full of emotion, memories and passion - a concert that touches the heart and soul in equal measure.

Günther Groissböck is one of the world's leading singers. He is a regular guest at the Vienna State Opera, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Bavarian State Opera and the Salzburg Festival. In addition to opera, he has a special love for Viennese music, which he shares with the Neue Wiener Concert Schrammeln. Under the title "Wann i nimma singen kann", they dedicate themselves to the immortal songs of Hermann Leopoldi, Gerhard Bronner and André Heller - full of wit, depth and Viennese melancholy. It is the sound of Vienna, created in wine taverns, appreciated by the most famous musicians and today heard in concert halls worldwide. Tours have already taken the Neue Wiener Concert Schrammeln to over 30 countries - and always back to the Heurigen in Vienna.

Audience favorites Maya Hakvoort and Lukas Perman take us back to the golden era of musicals with their "Musical Classics" program. In a rousing concert evening, they present highlights from My Fair Lady, West Side Story, Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sunset Boulevard and many other successful productions. Together they span an arc from the beginnings of the modern musical to the classics of the 21st century, paying tribute to composers such as Andrew Lloyd Webber, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim. The result is an evening full of emotion, elegance and musical magic - a feast for all lovers of musicals.
