Musical stars - The greatest hits

Together with their band under the direction of Christian Frank, Austria's three most successful musical stars present the greatest hits of their careers, including Dance of the Vampires, Elisabeth, I am from Austria, Mozart, Evita and Romeo & Juliet. Mark Seibert is a celebrated star of numerous musical productions in German-speaking countries. Missy May is a versatile talent in acting, presenting and singing. Lukas Perman, known from great Viennese musicals and the TV show Dancing Stars, returns to the stage of the Taggenbrunn Festival after his great success last year as an audience favorite in "The Gentlemen of Swing".

    Mark Seibert is a renowned musical performer, known from various musical productions and concerts at home and abroad. Born in Frankfurt am Main, he began his career during his intensive training in singing, dancing and acting in Vienna and New York.

    Seibert has played leading roles in popular musicals such as ELISABETH, DANCE OF THE VAMPIRE, REBECCA, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and many more. He has also produced several solo albums and has appeared on numerous musical cast recordings.

    In addition to his work on stage, he produces and designs more and more musical concerts and can now look back on a large number of events as an organizer.

    The career of the Vienna native began at the tender age of eight. At that time, she was a star in various ORF series and was the youngest presenter on Austrian radio.

    She played her first major film role in the German TV six-parter Liebe, Lügen, Leidenschaften with Oscar winner Maximilian Schell and Franco Nero, among others. She also took part in several auditions and was a contestant in the second season of the ORF casting show Starmania. On the recommendation of Monika Ballwein (vocal coach for Starmania), she introduced herself to the record company Hitsquad Records, where her first singles Star That You Are (ran for several months in the opening credits of the weather show on the TV channel ATV+), Loud Music and Everything Breaks were produced. As part of the Vienna Festival, she sang the opening show alongside greats such as Bobby McFerrin.

    In the course of her career, she released successful singles and albums - followed by solo tours through Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

    In 2016-2018, Missy May toured Austria and Germany with "Voices of Musical" and "Voices of Musical Christmas" together with Maya Hakvoort, Mark Seibert, Lukas Perman, Andre Bauer and Ramesh Nair. In 2017, she sat on the jury of the "Big Chance of Choirs" show together with Oliver Pocher. At the same time, she released her new album, which reached number 1 in the Austrian iTunes pop charts.

    In PENSION SCHÖLLER she could be seen in the role of Therese Schöller in BLUTSBRÜDER as Linda. Most recently, she impressed as Little Red Riding Hood in INTO THE WOODS and as Lady Marian in the musical ROBIN HOOD.

    Since 2019, she has also been a soloist in the international Bond in Concert series as well as Musicalstars im Steinbruch and Musicalstars unter Sternen Formation.

    In 2023 Missy May won the ORF main evening show Dancing Stars alongside Dimitar Stefanin.

    Lukas Perman studied acting, singing and dance at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) and graduated with honors. In 2002, he took part in the casting show organized by ORF Starmania and was one of the twelve finalists. This was followed in 2003 by an engagement at the Theater an der Wien for the musical production Elisabeth. He then played the title role in the German-language premiere of the musical Romeo and Juliet at the Raimund Theater in Vienna. In 2007, the musical production Elisabeth (in German) with the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien on a ten-week tour of Japan. In the following years, Lukas Perman was almost exclusively engaged for productions and concerts in Japan. In 2008 he played in the Japanese version of Maurey Yeston's Phantom the role of Philip de Chandon in Japanese. After his return to Vienna, he was engaged by the Vienna Volksoper as Freddy in My fair lady. From 2009 to 2011, he was Alfred in the new Viennese version of Dance of the Vampires at the Ronacher in Vienna. In 2012, he released the CD "Luft und Liebe" together with Marjan Shaki (as the duo Marjan & Lukas). In 2013, Perman appeared in the eighth season of Dancing Stars and came third as a finalist. From June 2013 to January 2014, he returned to musicals and played in Elisabeth once again played Crown Prince Rudolf at the Raimund Theater. In 2017 he played in I am from Austria the Josi Edler. In 2019, he returned in the role of Dr. Roger Fleuriot in the play My sister and I returned to the Vienna Volksoper. Perman has acted as a presenter at various concerts and events, for example at Musicalstars in the Römersteinbruch St. Margarethen, as well as on TV in the ORF programs Licht ins Dunkel, Wir spielen für Österreich and Stimmen für den Frieden.
