Hans Sigl

Hans Sigl, born in Styria in 1969, initially trained as an actor and singer at the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck from 1990 to 1993; this was followed by theater engagements in Innsbruck, at the Bremen Shakespeare Company and the Stadttheater Freiburg.

After his decision to turn his back on the theater, Sigl appeared in countless TV and film productions, including the series "Soko Kitzbühel" from 2001 to 2007.

In 2008, Hans Sigl took on the title role in the ZDF production "Der Bergdoktor", in which he has now appeared for 17 seasons in the role of Martin Gruber. The series is one of the most popular on German television ... with regularly sensational viewing figures.

In addition to his television work, Sigl has always remained loyal to the theater and regularly performs his own solo evenings. And he has discovered his love for readings and enjoys taking audiences into the realm of literature by Schnitzler, Mann, Zweig, Bucay and many more.

Among the awards Sigl has received for his work are the Austrian film and television award Romy, which Sigl won four times as the most popular series actor, the audience award "Goldene Henne" and "Die goldene Kamera" as a team for "Der Bergdoktor".

The company Sony, together with Reclam, discovered his voice in 2017 and has since set numerous literary classics from Kafka to Goethe to music with Hans Sigl, which can be heard on Spotify and elsewhere.

It is precisely because of his versatility that Hans Sigl is a regular guest and presenter on major game, Saturday evening and talk shows on TV.

Pianist Katharina Königsfeld discovered her passion for the piano and organ at the age of 6. She studied both piano and organ with Prof. A. von Arnim and Prof. R. M. Stangier at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. She received musical inspiration from Christoph Eschenbach, Ian Fountain, Dirk Mommertz, Grigory Gruszman, Lutz Brenner, Edgar Krapp and Erwan le Prado, among others. Her busy concert schedule includes the Philharmonie Essen, the Konzerthaus Dortmund, the Jahrhunderthalle Bochum as part of the renowned Ruhr Piano Festival and the Oratorio S. Caterina in Cervo, Italy. Her own concert series at Schloss Burgellern, appearances as a soloist with members of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, at the Erl Festival, as well as regular engagements on the MS Europa 2, among others.

In 2015, she ventured into the world premiere of Hans Rott's Symphony, transcribed for piano, which received standing ovations at the Festpielhaus Erl. She forms the KLASSIK3 trio with violinist Marie Claudine Papadopoulos and cellist Alexandre Vay. Katharina has been working with producer Bill Sathrum since 2017 and also writes film music with him. With the dubstep producer and drummer Affe Maria, she explores new musical possibilities and is a welcome guest on international stages with her program 'Piano Fantasy'. Katharina Königsfeld has been under contract exclusively with Sony Classical since 2014. In 2018, she took over the artistic direction of the International Organ Academy Kitzbühel.
