Tom Gaebel initially studied violin, trombone and percussion. He completed his vocal studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory in Hilversum. He is a guest at renowned festivals, including the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Reingau Music Festival, Mittelrhein Music Festival and Jazzopen Stuttgart. In 2013 he received the German Jazz Award. He has worked with the Fantastischen Vier, appeared on the television program Xavier's concert of wishes on Sky One and has made guest appearances on shows including Good times, bad times.
The musicians in Tom's band are each exceptional talents in their own right and yet are able to stand behind a sound idea and take a back seat at the same time.
